A few great movies

We just finished watching Amelie.
I enjoyed this film.
I was totally entertained.

This was so fantastic!
I have seen Cirque Du Soleil live and would love to see all their shows.

Michael Clayton was an interesting movie.
It took me awhile to understnad and to even care what was happening.
I almost quit the movie after the first half hour. It finally grabbed me.

This Nature program made me want to go to Yellowstone in the winter.

The Sundance Film Festival

is January 15-25th.

Fantastic footage.



"Anotonia's Line" was an interesting story.
I enjoyed the setting and the filming as well as the acting.
I never noticed the sub titles.

My favorite movie of 2008 was
"Secret Lives of Bees."

Life in the Undergrowth

David Attenborough takes us on an incredible journey
into the insect world.




The macro lens opens this world to us.


There are five programs on these two discs.
Fantastic filming, quality information about the
amazing world of bugs!

This thirty minute short film was beautifully told.
The animation seemed to rise off a page of a book.
Sweet and simple.

My daughter sent Persepolis for me to read.
An important story to read.

When the movie came out I waited for it to come to DVD.

I was spell bound.
Not a happy movie but a story that needed to be told.

We have been watching the BBC series
The Life of Birds.

Each disc has three programs covering different aspects of a bird's life.
The photography is fantastic.

There is one more disc.
Three more programs.
These will be about the life of the egg.
This is an amazing series.
