I was pleased Dreamgirls arrived.
I was ready for a lighter movie after watching dramas for two weeks.
What I did not expect was a musical drama.
I enjoyed the 60's references since I grew up during the 60's.
I remember Dianna Ross and the Supremes.
I liked the story. I liked the characters. I liked the music. I liked the actors.
I stuck for the entire movie. My husband drifted in and out.
I actually could see a television series based on a girls group and the relationships between the girls, their guys and their music. With the popularity of dance and music programs maybe it would be a hit. If I liked the characters and the music, I might watch.
I am ready for the writer's strike to be over. I hope they get a great contract.

It was a fine movie. I enjoyed it.
The music was good and the story was fine. I actually think it would be a good tv series. I would love to watch a more detailed account of the relationships between the girls.
I bet your husband will enjoy it. We are watching more movies now that we have Netflix. I love that.
