Syriana and Traffic

We watch two movies this past week.
Both dramas about on going current issues.

Syriana

Traffic
I had seen Syriana before.
I did not mind watching parts of it again.
It reminded me once again how much I want solar power.
Traffic was very interesting.
A story about the war on drugs.
Both stories about greed.
Both stories sad.
I am ready for a light and airy romance
a musical or a nature story.

Haven't seen either of these but will watch out for them. Have you seen The Painted Veil?

Dear Chris,
Both of these movies are rather sad. There is "hope" I guess in each of them.
I have not seen The Painted Veil. I wrote it down on my list and will see if I can put it on the queue.
All suggestions are welcomed!
Thanks,
Sherry

Dear Sprite,
These movies were just fine. I think the acting was great in both of them. I quickly forgot I was watching Matt Damon.
The subject matter is rather depressing, greed always bothers me!
Once I get into learning a bit more about what makes a movie "good" I may be able to write more about them. My criterion is based on if I actually "stuck" to watch it!
